No iPods, iPhones, or iPads cross the Bill Gates threshold

Wadenick – Agreed, I’m sure he doesn’t touch Office for Mac. You make some great points, though I would like to add that you should see what your competitor is both doing wrong, to offer a better solution, and what they are doing right – to copy them and make an even better version.

Target Really Does Keep iPads Locked in a Cabinet

and I’d be surprised if any potential buyers who have never spent time with a friend’s iPad or tried one out elsewhere would be enticed at all to spend $500-850 on a device they can’t even really see, never mind try out.

Target to Start Selling iPads October 3

1Michael N. Marcus September 25, 2010 at 9:40 am

>>I’m glad to see Target added to the list as we’ve got one just down the road from us and if they start carrying iPad accessories then that’s another handy place to check them out.<<

This move could make buying accessories worse, not better, at least in the short term.

Even without Target, there are not enough accessories for all of the stores that want to sell them. A few miles from here a BestBuy is right next to a Target. I assume neither one will have the camera adapter or case I want to buy.

more to come’ on their rollout of iPads.  ZDNet reckons this is already single largest rollout of iPads in the world.

If the iPad is deemed a success within top enterprises like SAP that should be a huge boost for its overall momentum in the enterprise space.
